VibePDX—LGBTQAI+ Safe Space No School Day Camp: Character Design in Printmaking (room 203)

In this Art Class, we will learn about printmaking and how to create and print a relief plate. Students will learn about editions, and get to trade prints with their classmates if they want to. We will begin the class with a quick character creation lesson, in which students can create their own character that they can use for their print. If students don’t enjoy drawing, we will also have collage materials that students can use as their character and sketch. We’ll be gaining inspiration from anime, cartoons, comics, and collage. All are welcome to attend this class with the understanding that we will be discussing topics such as gender and sexuality.
