This afterschool art club is excellent for middle school youth to establish an art practice and build connections with Vibe's artist-teachers and fellow young artists. Artist teachers will bring various mediums and techniques to share with students, and acknowledge students' interests and artistic choices. Our classes encourage kids to develop their visual and critical thinking skills as they discover their creative processes. They'll get comfortable making independent artistic choices and build skills to create increasingly complex pieces. We'll be doing drawing, painting, mixed media, printmaking, up-cycled art, and more. Classes run April 12th-June 7th, 2023. Drop in options available.
