This camp is all about self-expression through art! We will learn how to customize objects with our favorite LGBTQA+ pride colors and how to re-gender gendered-objects by painting over discarded and recycled ceramic figures. We'll craft pride apparel with tie-dye, create our own pronoun-pins, and explore a range of mixed media 2D and 3D materials. In this class we will be discussing gender and sexuality through illustrative stories, time-based media, and contemporary art to help inspire our own artistic self-expression. Students will also have the opportunity to talk about their artistic work if they want to, but no one has to share verbally if they do not wish to. 

All students are welcome to attend this class with the understanding that we will be discussing topics such as gender and sexuality.
