This winter break camp is all about self-expression through art! We will explore a wide range of mixed media 2D and 3D materials to find new ways to express ourselves in art. Students will learn how to customize and craft pride apparel with tie-dye, and create their own pronoun-pins through drawing and collage. We'll workshop and try print-making and water-marbling techniques, as well as experiment with how to re-gender gendered-objects by painting over discarded and recycled ceramic figures. All are welcome to attend this class with the understanding that we will be discussing topics such as gender and sexuality.
