In this 2 day workshop, students will work on a medallion while learning the history of beading in the Columbia Plateau. Since time immemorial, the Tribes of the Columbia Plateau (Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Confederated Tribes of Umatilla, Yakama and Nez Perce) utilized shell, stone, bone and natural paint to ornament their wares.
