Kirsten Bauer will guide the group through the fundamentals of traditional sign painting - touching on the basics of block letter construction, brushstroke & brush lettering technique, and sign layout. Kirsten will also cover the basics of color theory and how to create decorative elements. Students will leave the workshop with a custom sign, as well as a basic understanding of all the elements that go into hand painted signage! Please bring a specific word or phrase (3 words maximum) you'd like to use on your custom sign. All materials provided. No experience necessary. Open to anyone 18 yrs & up.
