Join special visiting artist Pearlyn Tan for this one-day printmaking workshop!

In this Intro to Drypoint Workshop you will be using recycled materials like clamshell plastic lids and wall nails to make a printed etching. Pearlyn Tan practices various printmaking techniques in her work and will be guiding you through creating a print using upcycled materials that are readily available at home.  Her work is inspired by forms from nature and her journey through motherhood. Her printmaking work can be found in Portland Portable Works Collection, Beaverton Public Collection, OSU College of Agriculture Sciences’ Art About Agriculture Permanent Collection, and seen at Waterstone Gallery, Make & Mary on Alberta, Open Signal’s wall at Graham & MLK, in the UK magazine Pressing Matters, and on Instagram at the_unordinary_motherhood.

All material costs are included. All levels are welcome! If you attended our past workshops (either in Jan, Feb, or March) and you want to learn how to add color layers to your dry point, collagraph, or tetra pak plates, Pearlyn will be offering special instruction for that process. Please check you email for a special discount code!
