Carol Lindsay

Carol is a newer member of the Studio Practice class and is continuing her work in vibrant water based mixed media techniques. She has taken many classes with local instructors and uses her studio time to experiment in the space between abstraction and representation. Carol is a material alchemist and develops complex textured backgrounds with sprays, spills, salts, rocks, strings, dried hot glue, and other mixed media. She then works in watercolor and gouache to conjure recognizable images of fish or ginkgo leaves from her colorful fields.
