Meggins Tuchmann
Meggins is honing her skills as a painter in the Studio Practice class and is hitting her stride with landscape painting. Working both from life and from photographs, Meggins has an impressionistic approach to building her canvases with luminous color applied with energetic brush and palette knife strokes. Her strong sense of mark making make her work feel alive and fresh. Her lively marks are also evident in her multi-color linoleum block prints.
