Join special visiting artist Pearlyn Tan for this one-day printmaking workshop!
Come learn how to make art out of junk mail! Fun stencil class using recycled mailers. Pearlyn Tan practices various printmaking techniques in her work and will be guiding you through creating a print using upcycled materials that are readily available at home. Her work is inspired by forms from nature and her journey through motherhood. Her printmaking work can be found in Portland Portable Works Collection, Beaverton Public Collection, OSU College of Agriculture Sciences’ Art About Agriculture Permanent Collection, and seen at Waterstone Gallery, Make & Mary on Alberta, Open Signal’s wall at Graham & MLK, in the UK magazine Pressing Matters, and on Instagram at the_unordinary_motherhood.
