Seeing Art (May 2024)

SEEING ART is a small group visit to look at art in the Portland Metro area together! At Paisley Studios, we know that making art is important. This new series is inspired by our 8th principle, YOU ARE NOT ALONE, and reinforces our belief that looking at art makes us feel like we are part of a larger conversation, puts us in a different state of mind, and inspires us to think/talk about new things.

This month we will be visiting a beloved gallery and curated bookstore on E Burnside called Nationale! If you haven’t been, this is a great opportunity to see this beautiful contemporary space that always has a wonderful collection of books and rotating shows. The current show is “A Mother’s Discourse” by textile artist Francesca Capone.
