SEEING ART is a small group visit to look at art in the Portland Metro area together! At Paisley Studios, we know that making art is important. This new series is inspired by our 8th principle, YOU ARE NOT ALONE and reinforces our belief that looking at art makes us feel like we are part of a larger conversation, puts us in a different state of mind, and inspires us to think/talk about new things.
This month we will be visiting the Portland Art Museum’s special exhibition Black Artist’s of Oregon. I have been trying to figure out a way to visit this show for free, and it so happens that the museum is free all day on Thursday, March 7th! Much has been written about this amazing survey of 67 artists, curated by Intisar Abioto, and on view through March 31st, 2024. Come see it for yourself!
Please meet Bonnie at the front entrance to the museum at 1219 SW Park Ave at Noon. Bonnie will be in the galleries for 2 hours, please feel free to come find her there and say hello! She will help answer any questions to the best of her ability.
