Judith Mayer SNJM

Sister Judith’s work and process is rooted in joy, contemplation, intuitive action and reaction, and all sits comfortably under the umbrella of visual pleasure. She moves fluidly between drawing, painting and collage and works mainly with acrylic, paint pens, and pencils. Creating her own sets of rules to follow or break, she has put both feet into the pool of abstraction. She is learning to trust her creative instincts and push herself when called to do so, but she is always committed to the larger project of building her own unique visual vocabulary.
