Anne Clark

Anne is part of both the Studio Practice class and the general membership at the studio. She arrived with an interest in oil painting and has focused on still life. Anne has also broadened her skills by taking a color theory class online and extra painting classes at High Low Art Space in Portland. She has had some experience drawing and spends time working out her compositions before starting with paint. Working from life, she is exploring both the older style of oil painting using a grisaille underpainting and more impressionistic “alla prima” techniques this year.
