Liz Brown

Liz is a newer member of the Studio Practice class, working primarily in acrylic on canvas or wood. She brings her keen interest in birds and nature to her carefully developed paintings. Building surfaces and marks using small and large brushes, she has begun to experiment with livelier marks and a looser paint application this year. She has done several landscapes inspired by her travels to Ireland including her most recent work—a small coastal triptych on wood panel.
