Bonnie Kittredge

Bonnie is a true nature lover, gathering all of her inspiration from far (Alaska’s vast marine wilderness) and near (her home garden). An attentive and observant drawer, she has worked in pastels, colored pencils, collage, and watercolor. This year she is focusing on beginning very loosely, narrowing her subject down to only a few essential shapes and colors, and turning up the dial on feeling and memory rather than direct observation. Art is her way of directly connecting to nature and her work is a tangible record of her devotion and respect for the earth.
